Inspiration Application.

Tim McCreight and his team at the wonderful Brynmorgen Press have come up with an app' to aid you in your inspiration...in a decidedly digital manner.
 "Spinspiration" is the name of the new app' and here is what they say about it;

"We all know those times when ideas don't come, or all our sketches seem like things we've drawn before. We need a metaphorical smack on the head to shake things up and jar us into new connections. This innovative and playful App might be just what you're looking for.
  • Spinspiration uses random selection algorhythms to generate words and images into more than 50,000 possible combinations. In the Spinwords screen, flip three wheels to create a collision of three terms that might bring an image to mind. Don't like one of the words? Spin again! Need more? Check out the quotation, or tap it to reveal another.
  • The Word+Image screen replaces one of the word wheels with an image, sometimes recognizable and sometimes an abstraction of color and shape. Bang! There is another visual collision and maybe you're on your way.
  • Need more? Check out the Gallery, where you can see examples of real sketches and the three words that triggered them. From here you also have a chance to send in your own sketches to be used in a future update."
Sadly, I don't have a smartphone, but if I did, I'd like to have this app' in my armoury. To find out more about it, click here. Don't forget that Brynmorgen Press have a superb range of high-quality books, publications and other media for sale, covering the realm of metals and jewellery.
